Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission is going to fill 1262 vacancies of Junior Assistant (Kanisth Sahayak) through advertisement no. 08-Exam/2022. A new recruit on the post of Kanisth Sahayak in UPSSSC, gets the pay scale in pay band of 5200-20200 with grade pay Rs. 2000 level 3 pay matrix.
Starting basic pay in this pay matrix is Rs. 21700. Basic pay is calculated on this pay band and then various allowances such as Dearness allowance (@38% of basic pay from July 2022), House rent allowance, medical allowance etc. are calculated on basic pay and added to it.
After summing up all allowances and basic pay, gross salary is calculated and deductions like NPS pension, is done.

UP Junior Assistant Salary 2023 per month at DA @38%
The total amount of salary as per the above pay scale is around Rs. 32400-36400 depending on place of posting. The deduction from gross salary is around Rs. 3000. After deductions, net in hand salary is around Rs. 29400-33400 per month.
This salary keep on increasing as Dearness allowance is increased every six months and increment is done to basic pay every year. Also when a promotion is applied, then salary gets increased by big amount.

This post includes work on computer. Candidate should have typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi and 30 words per minute in English. Candidate have to keep records and do typing work as asked to do by the department where he/she gets posting.

Last time, UPSSSC had advertised for 1186 posts of Kanisth Sahayak which includes 659 posts of Unreserved, 216 posts of Scheduled castes, 29 posts of Scheduled tribes and 282 posts of Backword class. Application were filled from 26 June to 20 July 2019.
A candidate has to be between the age of 18 to 40 years to apply for these posts and have qualifications of 12th or equivalent. The candidate should also have typing speed as mentioned above and CCC computer certificate. Selection process involves written test and typing test.
