As per this pay scale, The starting basic pay of UP PGT is Rs. 47600 per month. Various allowances like Dearness allowance, HRA, TA etc. will be given on the basis of this basic pay and added to it to come at total salary.

Total Salary is a combination of basic pay and allowances (DA, HRA, TA, CCA etc.). Net Cash in hand salary is the salary which a candidate receives after deduction of NPS & taxes from total salary. The approximate Salary of UP PGT Teacher as per above pay scale is given below.

UP PGT Salary Structure:

  • UP PGT Total Salary per month: Rs. 67000-75000
  • Deductions: Rs. 6500
  • UP PGT in hand salary 2022 per month: Rs. 60500-68500.
The salary range given above depends on allowances given by UP Government and place of posting. Salary will be higher in Class X cities (big cities of Uttar Pradesh i.e. Lucknow) and a bit lower in Class Y cities and lowest in villages / small cities due to less HRA rates. HRA is 24% of basic pay for Class X cities, 16% for Class Y cities and 8% for Class Z cities / villages. Dearness allowance is currently 31% of basic pay. Other benefits includes Travel allowance, CCA, paid leaves, medical facility, National Pension Scheme etc.
