UPPSC PCS Syllabus 2022 ACF RFO Exam Pattern with PDF

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) conduct Upper Subordinate Services / PCS & ACF RFO Exam. Selection of candidates consist of Preliminary Exam (Objective type), Main Exam (Conventional Type) and Interview. The main exam will be held for candidates qualified in Pre exam. Every year, UPPSC conducts this exam for filling various posts. Those candidates who want to get selected for these posts should prepared hard as the competition is tough. First you should know about Exam Pattern of Pre and Mains.

Pre Exam:

It will consist of two OMR Based compulsory papers of General Studies carrying 200 marks each. The duration of papers will be two hours for each paper. One paper will have 150 questions while other will have 100 questions. The timing of paper I will be from 9.30 to 11.30 A.M. and paper II from 2.30 to 4.30 P.M.
Prelims Paper-II will be a qualifying paper with 33% minimum qualifying marks. The merit will be determined on Preliminary Examination Paper 1 marks.

Main Exam:

It will have following compulsory and optional subject papers.
candidates have to select any two subjects from the list of optional subjects for main examination. Each
optional subject will consist of two papers.
(A) COMPULSORY SUBJECTS
1. General Hindi - 150 marks
2. Essay - 150 marks
3. General Studies (1st Paper) - 200 marks
4. General Studies (2nd Paper) - 200 marks
5. General Studies (3rd Paper) - 200 marks
6. General Studies (4th Paper) - 200 marks

3 hours time is given to each Compulsory paper. These papers will be of conventional type.

(B) OPTIONAL SUBJECT ARE AS BELOW 
Each paper will carry 200 marks.
Agriculture, Botany, Mechanical Engineering, Zoology, Law, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, English Lit., Physics, Urdu Lit., Mathematics, Statistics, Hindi Lit, Geography, Management, Sanskrit Lit., Economics, Commerce & Accountancy, Sociology, Political Science & International Relations, Philosophy, History, Public Administration, Geology, Anthropology, Medical Science, Psychology, Civil Engineering.

(C) PERSONALITY TEST (VIVA-VOCE) TOTAL MARKS 100
The test will relate to the matter of general interest keeping the matter of academic interest in view and for general awareness, intelligence, character, expression power/personality and general suitability for the service.
