RBI Grade B Salary 2022 Pay Scale

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has advertised for 322 posts of Officers in Gr B (DR)- General, DSIM & DEPR. This vacancy is usually advertised by RBI every year. Candidates selection in this recruitment is done through Online Exam and Interview. 

RBI Grade B Salary 2022 (Starting), Allowances, Perquisites, Seniority Career Prospects

Selected Candidates will be given starting basic pay of ₹35,150/- per month. The pay scale of B Grade Officer is Rs. 35150-1750(9)-50900-EB-1750 (2) - 54400-2000(4)-62400 (16 years) applicable to Officers in Grade B
This means the starting basic pay of Grade B Officer is Rs. 35150 per month. An increment of Rs. 1750 will be given on this post for next 9 years till the basic pay increases to Rs. 50900. This process continues till basic pay increases to Last basic pay Rs. 62400 after 16 years on this post.
At present, initial monthly Total Salary / emoluments of RBI Grade B Officer are ₹83254/- (approx). If RBI does not provide Accommodation then House Allowance of 15% of Basic Pay will be paid to the candidate.

Appointed candidates will be eligible for various allowances i.e. Dearness Allowance (Currently 17% of basic pay), Local Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family allowance and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. 
Please Note that For those candidates who have very high academic or professional qualification / experience that is of significant value to the Bank, then the Bank may, at its sole discretion, consider granting up to maximum four advance increments. 
For them, The Board, at its sole discretion, may consider requests for higher emoluments because of higher qualification/special experience of value to the Bank at the interview stage only. Candidate has to furnish such info in the Bio-data. 
Seniority / Career Prospects
Appointed Candidates of separate recruitments will join the Combined Seniority Group. The seniority among these Officers will be fixed according to the ranking worked out by using the standard percentile score of aggregate marks of selected candidates.
