Central Government Dearness Allowance (DA) hiked to 42% w.e.f. January 2023

Recently Government of India had increased the dearness allowance of Central Government employees. This increase will take effect from January Month. 
The employees will be given 42% DA from 01 January 2023 onwards. This will benefit 47.58 lakh Central Govt. employees as it will increase their gross salary. It is also a great news for 69.76 lakh pensioners as now they will get more money. Arrears will be given to employees since it is effective from Jan 2023.
