IBPS PO Salary Structure 2019 - Know IBPS PO Pay Scale


A newly recruited IBPS Probationary Officer in any bank under IBPS gets Pay scale
Rs. 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020. In this Scale I, starting basic pay of new candidate appointed on the post of Probationary Officer is Rs. 23700. Annual increments of Rs. 980 is given for 7 years till their basic pay reach 30560. Then increment of 1145 is given in basic pay for 2 years till it reaches Rs. 32850. After this, 1310 increase in basic pay is given for 7 years till it reaches 42020.
IBPS PO Allowances
The following allowances are applicable addition to basic pay.
House Rent Allowance (HRA) 
Dearness Allowance
City Compensatory Allowance (CCA):  It is an allowance for moving from one city to another and can be either 3% or 4%.

Total salary of IBPS PO at Current DA (for newly selected) after adding all allowances ranges from INR 35000-40000.
Bank PO Salary will be approx. 35K to 40K.
After some deductions, Cash in Hand salary of newly recruited Probationary Officers will be INR 33000-38000 after deductions (depending on posting area).
Other Perks and Benefits: Perks and Benefits vary from bank to bank. The perks and benefits includes leased accommodation, travelling allowance, newspaper allowance, medical allowance etc.
The selection of candidates for Probationary Officer posts is done through Preliminary and Main exam followed by interview. Pre & Main exams are of objective type with negative marking. Those who qualify all stages are selected and given allotment as per their merit and bank preference.
